Please find below the most recent updates on the FRAC website including FRAC Mode of Action Poster, Code List and annually updated Minutes of the FRAC Working Group meetings containing the Summary of Monitoring activities and Resistance Management Recommendations.

    Minutes and recommendations of the SBI Working Group from 28th of January 2021 are now available

    Minutes and recommendations of the SBI WG from the telephone conference held on 27th to 28th of January 2021 are now available.

    Summary of SBI monitoring data from 2020 is included in the minutes: link
    An update of the minutes will follow in March to April after a follow up meeting in March.
     
    Based on the monitoring, no changes were made to SBI WG recommendations for 2020 (link) compared the previous year.

    Minutes and recommendations of the SDHI Working Group from 21st of January 2021 are now available

    Minutes and recommendations of the SDHI WG from the telephone conference held in January 20th to 21st, 2021 are now available.

    Summary of SDHI monitoring data from 2020 is included in the minutes: link
    An update of the minutes will follow in March to April after a follow up meeting in March.
     
    Based on the monitoring, no changes were made to SDHI WG recommendations for 2021 (link) compared the previous year.

    The FRAC video now available in additional languages

    The FRAC video, which explains fungicide resistance and how it can be managed, is now available beside English in following languages:
    Arabic, Bahasa Indonesia, French, German, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swahili, Vietnamese,

    Minutes and recommendations of the OSBPI Working Group are now available

    Summary of monitoring-data from 2019 for OSBPIs is given the minutes: Link

    The recommendations for all other crops than Grapes were changed as follows (changes in bold):

    • Make no more than four (4) applications or maximum 33% of the total period of protection needed per crop, whichever is more restrictive.
    • Where the total number of fungicide applications targeting oomycetes is less than three (3), apply no more than one (1) application of an OSBPI product.
    • There should be no more than two (2) foliar applications of any OSBPI product for the control of soil-borne pathogens.
    • Applications of OSBPI-containing products are to be made no more than three (3) times in sequence before applying a fungicide with a different mode of action. In areas where the agronomic risk is very high (e.g. continuous potato or cucurbit cropping) and resistance has already been reported, further restrictions to the number of consecutive applications are recommended.
    •  Applications of OSBPI products can be made in alternation with a fungicide with a different mode of action.

    No further changes were made based on the monitoring to the other OSBPI WG recommendations for 2020 to 2021 (link) compared to the previous year.

    Minutes and recommendations of the QoI Working Group from the telephone conference held on 23rd of September are now available.

    The updated summary of monitoring-data for QoIs is given in the minutes (link).

    No further changes were made to QoI WG recommendations for 2020 (link) compared that published mid of 2020.
