Dr. Karl-Heinz Lorenz (BASF, Germany) was elected as the new Banana group chair. Karl-Heinz succeeds Dr. Andreas Mehl (Bayer, Germany).

We thank Andreas for his dedication and service to the FRAC organization in this role.

Minutes and recommendations of the QoI WG from the meeting on December 14th 2017 are now available.

A summary of monitoring-data is given in the QoI WG minutes (link).

Based on the monitoring, no changes were made to the General QoI Recommendation for 2018 (link).
Recommendations for 2018 in Soybeans (link) were updated by mentioning the consideration to reduce the source of inoculum by destruction of volunteers. No changes were made to further Crop/Pathogen-specific Recommendations for 2018.

Minutes and recommendations of the SBI WG from the meeting on December 15^th 2017 are now available.
